Promote school and community programs while planning assignments and organizing supervised practices. Teach individual skills, team strategy, rules, and regulations, emphasizing sportsmanship, self-control, and emotional support. Conduct small-group learning experiences and check participant eligibility, including insurance coverage and parent consent. Recommend equipment, supplies, and uniforms to ensure student health and safety. Provide a positive role model with patience and friendly guidance. Assist in multiple programs while interpreting rules, policies, and procedures. Requires a high school diploma, 64 semester hours of college education, one year of coaching experience, and a criminal background check.
