Job Summary
Coaching role assisting in the Cedar Falls Community School District for Jr High Boys Cross Country; duties include applying sport knowledge, motivating students, maintaining sportsmanship and school spirit, supervising safety and conduct during practices and events, enforcing student code of conduct, planning and communicating progress to administration and parents, maintaining required forms and records, and collaborating with coaches and staff. Must hold Iowa Department of Education coaching authorization and have a Board-approved coaching contract; may require a medical certificate of examination for non-teaching coaching assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Valid coaching authorization issued by the Iowa Department of Education
- Valid coaching contract approved by the Board of Education
- Certificate of physical examination (if assigned as non-teaching coach)
