Job Summary
Assistant Football Coach - Defensive Coordinator at Spectrum High School will support the Head Coach in organizing and leading practices, developing and implementing training plans, and supporting student-athletes in their athletic and academic development. Responsibilities include leading warm-ups, drills, and conditioning, supporting event coaching and meet preparation, providing performance feedback, monitoring progress, and collaborating with coaching staff and school personnel. Preferred qualifications emphasize coaching experience, passion for developing athletes, strong organizational and communication skills, ability to motivate student-athletes, and maintaining Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) certification. Start Date: August 2026; Season: August–November 2026; Compensation: $2,497; Hours: after-school with meets/events. Application process is online. Desired Qualifications
- Previous coaching experience in the sport (preferred but not required).
