Job Summary
High school cross country program needs an Assistant Coach to collaborate with the head coach. Responsibilities include supervising coaching duties as assigned by the head coach, attending staff meetings called by the principal, athletic director, or head coach, serving as a positive influence to student athletes, ensuring athlete safety and reporting injuries to appropriate staff, and performing other duties as assigned by the head coach. Skills include coaching athletic activities, communication with staff and students, and a commitment to student-athlete development.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in coaching or supervising athletic activities
- Ability to work with student athletes
- Attendance at staff meetings as required
- Compliance with safety reporting procedures
- Ability to perform duties assigned by head coach
