Job Summary
Co-Teacher for the Pre Primary Years Program responsible for supporting and guiding young learners in inquiry-based learning, leading learning activities with the class teacher, assessing attainment, maintaining records, and creating a purposeful classroom environment. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Pre-Primary Education (KY.S.A.T.S. recognition preferred) and professional teacher qualifications, fluency in English, familiarity with technology in teaching, safeguarding awareness, and the ability to collaborate with staff, parents, and students to foster a child-centred curriculum aligned with PYP principles.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pre-Primary Education
- Professional Educator Diploma or other teacher qualification (e.g. QTS, PGCE)
- Fluent English
- Familiar with technology use in teaching and learning
- Safeguarding/background checks
- Ability to pass a background check
