Job Summary

Communicate and interact frequently, affectionately, and respectfully with children to encourage their social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development. Implement a reflective curriculum and activities daily that support child learning while documenting accomplishments and conducting observations on health, behavior, and growth. Collaborate with the lead teacher to design developmentally appropriate curricula, individualized education plans, and a thoughtful classroom environment optimizing small and large group interactions. Partner with families through daily communication, home visits, and conferences to discuss individual development based on screening and assessment results. Supervise children indoors and outdoors, maintain a safe environment, and respond immediately to emergencies while following all state and federal guidelines.

Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
