Job Summary
Co-Store Manager at Tex Best Travel Centers/El Tigre Food Stores responsible for day-to-day store operations in Uvalde, TX, including scheduling, training, supervising team members and the Assistant Manager, and overseeing store profits and controllable expenses such as labor and inventory. Drive sales through management plans, marketing strategies, and adherence to company processes; maintain high store standards and a safe, organized environment; coach, mentor, and evaluate staff; recruit and hire associates; coordinate promotions and vendor deliveries; manage budgets to maximize profitability; ensure compliance with company policies and state/federal laws on alcohol, tobacco, and lottery sales; communicate effectively to influence performance and support development; offer flexible work schedules, comprehensive training, competitive pay, benefits, and career advancement opportunities.
Required Qualifications

- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in the retail or food space, with 2 years in management.

- Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, or related field.
- Or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
