Job Summary
Engineering student co-op in Traffic Engineering to support traffic counts, speed surveys, road/PEEP/TOPS tasks, data analysis, and municipal project reviews. Responsibilities include traffic/parking data collection, collision and travel-time analyses, review of Transportation Impact Assessments, design support for road projects, and coordination of Public Education and Enforcement Program (PEEP) activities. Requires enrollment in an engineering-related program, strong data and Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and a valid G-class license. Hybrid work arrangement; 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m., Monday–Friday; located at City Hall in London with proximity to public transit and Western University. Length up to 12 months; compensation $23.11/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled full-time in an academic program related to Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Transportation Planning/Design.
- Student must be returning to full-time academic studies in September 2027 and/or require this co-op placement to graduate.
- Possesses a valid G Class driver27s license (a personal vehicle is not required).
