Job Summary
Co-Op Software Engineer role at LiveRamp offering hands-on production coding experience over 12-week (internship/co-op) period. You will contribute to real production systems handling billions of requests and large data volumes, learn business and engineering practices, and be mentored with potential for a full-time offer after graduation. The program emphasizes learning by doing, collaboration, and applying engineering skills across projects with exposure to a modern tech stack and customer-facing products.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing or completed a degree in Computer Science or other STEM degrees
- Possess strong coding skills that you are ready to turn into industry-ready coding skills
- Willing to dive in and learn by doing
- Ready to work with others to solve hard problems
- Possess a startup personality: smart, ethical, friendly, hard-working and proactive
- Excited to work with products that have close interactions with customers
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Java, Core Java
- Big Data such as Hadoop and Spark
- Knowledge of distributed SQL database management systems, such as SingleStore
- Experience with GCP or another cloud provider (AWS, Azure, ...)
- Experience with Kubernetes, Cadence
- Experience with Agile software development
- Experience developing user interfaces with the React framework
- Experience with Ruby on Rails or Node.js
- Experience with TypeScript and Express.js
- Contributions to open-source projects
- Projects involving Workflow Orchestration
- Prior internship or co-op experience in software engineering
- Strong coding skills
- Willingness to dive in and learn by doing
