Job Summary
Co-op Project Manager position in Vancouver (Richmond, BC) for a student in a Canadian accredited university co-op program. Supporting Program Managers, engineering, manufacturing and quality teams across the full hardware development lifecycle. You’ll assist with planning, scheduling, and tracking project activities; develop project management dashboards; coordinate cross-functional meetings; support risk identification and mitigation; contribute to PMO process improvements; and work with mechanical, electrical, test, quality, and manufacturing stakeholders through sprint planning and team scrums. The role emphasizes organizing and aligning teams, learning product development processes, and applying project-management tools in a dynamic, global environment.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Engineering, Business or a related field
- Interest in hardware product development and technology
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Comfortable communicating with technical teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and project tools
- Enthusiasm, curiosity, and willingness to ask questions and learn
- Experience with technical environments (labs, design teams, or engineering courses)
- Exposure to bill of materials (BOMs) or product lifecycle concepts
- Basic understanding of mechanical/electrical systems
