Job Summary
Model project inputs into all Peoples Gas business financial models by coordinating with Engineering, Sales & Marketing, and Business Development teams. Maintain and enhance financial assumptions, processes, and model deployments while gathering sources to support modeling, analysis, and decision-making. Prepare charts, graphs, presentations, and summaries for project feasibilities and strategic objectives, and assist with ad-hoc strategic analysis. This co-op/internship supports the organization's financial results and strategic business objectives within an office environment in Tampa, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in your 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of an undergraduate program, or a graduate program, at an ABET-accredited university or college
- Maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale
- Must be part of your university's co-op program to qualify as a co-op student
- Excel basics (use of formulas, formatting)
- Knowledge of PowerPoint required
- Business Analytics or Finance field of study
Desired Qualifications
- Local to Tampa, FL
- Prior Intern/Co-Op with Peoples Gas
- Advanced Excel (indexing, arrays, Pivot tables) a plus
- Knowledge of Organization and Process Improvement preferred
- Familiarity with Power BI and MySQL a plus
