Job Summary
Part-time Co-op Bakery Staff responsibilities include following shift flows and Co-op baking methods, efficiently mixing/shaping/baking/slicing bread, preparing desserts, ensuring quality and freshness, packaging items with proper labeling to maintain shelf life, completing shift task checklists and inventory/waste, sanitation per GCC Health Department standards, documenting out-of-stock items, stocking and culling the retail bread display, completing weekly cleaning duties, and performing other duties as assigned. Experience in food service and pastry/bread baking is preferred; ability to follow recipes and produce food in large quantities; ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, holidays, and weekends; ability to lift up to 30 lbs (occasionally 50 lbs), stand for long periods, bend/twist, and lift product overhead or climb ladders as needed.
