Job Summary
Counsel clients on a one-to-one basis to address mental health and addiction issues; interview clients, review records, and confer with professionals to evaluate mental conditions; plan and coordinate treatment with supervisors, staff physicians, and other professionals, drawing on client strengths; monitor and record client progress toward treatment goals; refer clients and family members to community resources to support recovery; provide clinical assistance to staff; may provide consultation, evaluation, and treatment services; spend time with clients and families as identified in the treatment plan; participate in treatment team meetings; report behavioral and emotional observations and modify treatment plans as needed; utilize HELP and provide basic First Aid/CPR when required; attend mandatory trainings and meetings; develop individualized crisis plans with clients and caregivers; use AWARE’s EMR system; meet program outcomes and caseload requirements; perform other duties as assigned; salary range $60,000 to $70,000 per year.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MS, MA, or PhD) in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- Current LCPC or LCSW license (or willingness to obtain)
- Must maintain the specified professional license/certification
- Montana Driver’s License (or ability to obtain)
- Acceptable driving record and background check
