Job Summary
Complete initial assessments, intake, and treatment planning for individuals, couples, and groups while managing a caseload of consumers. Lead group sessions, deliver therapy using appropriate modalities, and provide crisis assistance planning as needed. Coordinate referrals, linkage, and collaboration with community organizations, Medicaid, and non-Medicaid service providers to address diverse mental health and substance use issues. Maintain accurate case records, submit session notes within 48 hours, and complete six hours of continuing education annually. Represent the organization at two community events per six months and attend treatment team meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Masters in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling (or in process of obtaining licensure) or Marriage and Family
- Associate Level License (LPA, LPCA, CSW, AMFT)
- Independent Level License (LPP, LPCC, LCSW, LMFT)
- Master's degree in public health, psychology, social work or related field
- Minimum of one-year experience working with individuals with mental health disorders or co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
- Ability to hold and/or obtain licensure
- Completed or actively pursuing supervision in order to meet supervision requirements for licensure
- Occasional evening and weekend work
- Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected
