Job Summary
Greet and room patients, assist with vital signs, blood draws, and pre/post-operative instructions, while recording medical history and monitoring condition changes. Administer treatment under provider direction, report emergencies to the Lead RN, and assist with discharge. Maintain medical equipment and supplies, perform clerical duties including scheduling and data entry, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and local regulations. Requires current Medical Assistant certification, BLS certification, and proficiency in MS Excel; experience in gastroenterology is preferred. Must reside in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Required Qualifications
- Current certification as a Medical Assistant
- BLS certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass a drug test which includes marijuana
- Must reside in Colorado at the time of hire
- Knowledge of GCP, federal, state, and local regulations, including HIPAA policies and procedures
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with GI or Pain Management
- Proficiency in MS Excel
