Execute weekly sales plans, manage merchandising programs, and ensure in-stock conditions to drive store growth. Conduct weekly manager audits on front-end, DSD receiving, and pricing while maintaining grocery inventory shrink under 0.40% of sales. Forecast staffing needs, recruit, train, and develop department managers to build a talent bench. Hold direct reports accountable for budgeted financial results and review ongoing performance appraisals. Maintain sanitation, food safety, and compliance with federal, state, and local statutes through frequent store walks and ALI audits. Provide daily feedback to the Store Manager, Field Merchandisers, and store hosts to ensure operational alignment and positive morale.
