Job Summary
Perform maintenance trades functions across rental units, office buildings, residential areas, and grounds to ensure property condition meets ownership and management objectives. Adhere strictly to corporate policies, procedures, and regulations while demonstrating accurate, complete, and timely communication. Attend required meetings, trainings, workshops, and seminars as assigned. Maintain a thorough working knowledge of safety protocols to promote an incident-injury-free and sustainable environment. Load and unload trucks safely, climb ladders, and travel by personal or company automobile to reach various work designations. Work alone or with minimal supervision while lifting objects up to 60 pounds and moving items exceeding 100 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to read and write English
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have negative drug test results
- Must have an acceptable driving record
- Must meet base requirements for background check
- Must be able to bend
- Must be able to squat
- Must be able to kneel
- Must be able to lift
- Must be able to twist
- Must be able to climb
- Must be able to reach
- Must be able to stand
- Must be able to walk
- Must be able to use hands for repetitive pushing
- Must be able to use hands for repetitive pulling
- Must be able to use hands for single grasp motions
- Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 60 pounds
- Must be able to move objects in excess of 100 pounds
- Must have the abilities to load and unload trucks safely
- Must be able to climb and carry ladders
- Must be able to travel by personal or company automobile to work location or to other designations as required
- Must be able to work alone or with minimal supervision
- Must be able to deal with others in a diplomatic and positive manner
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred 1 year trade experience, formal, apprentice, or work related training
