Job Summary
Co-Generation Operator responsible for monitoring daily microgrid operations and light maintenance of systems powering a casino in Sacramento. Key duties include overseeing service of industrial gas and diesel engines and balance of plant equipment, coordinating with the director and other operators for assignments and information flow, generating maintenance and activity reports, performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to maximize uptime, operating a CHP tri-generation power plant under varying conditions, maintaining plant cleanliness and confidentiality, and handling additional duties as required. Preferred skills include experience with co-generation and heat-power systems, SCR catalyst, welding and urea dosing systems, Wonderware HMI and Allen Bradley PLCs, and familiarity with related electrical distribution and control systems. Compensation is an hourly rate up to $60/hour with comprehensive benefits and PTO; location is Sacramento, CA with on-site work.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1-3 years of hands-on experience
- Factory certification from a major industrial manufacturer
- Factory-trained and certified technician (GE Jenbacher, Caterpillar, Waukesha, Wartsila, etc.)
- Familiarity with low voltage electrical distribution and production systems
