Job Summary
Coordinate tasks, assign crew duties, and monitor project progress from a time and budgetary standpoint while assisting the Foreman in leading a high-performance team. Review job specifications to determine materials and tools, assess on-site conditions, and set forth plans based on time allotments and order of work. Install products and services according to company standards, troubleshoot situations as needed, and safely load/unload materials and operate company vehicles. Communicate with customers before, during, and after job completion, address changes prior to implementation, and ensure accurate final documentation. Lead a crew of two or more people, including mentoring and temporary leadership in the Foreman's absence.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to motivate

- Experience leading crews or small teams
- Previous experience working in the construction or home services industry and/or trade work or general labor
- Basic construction or mechanical knowledge
- Valid, non-restrictive driver's license
- Ability to Lift heavy objects up to 22 kg
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to perform strenuous labor often under adverse conditions
- Good manual dexterity (hand, hand and arm, two hands)
- Multi-limb coordination
- Ability to quickly move arms and legs
- Excellent stamina
- Ability to read reports, data, statistics and information on computer screens
- Ability to enter crawl spaces and other confined areas
- Ability to safely, correctly, and efficiently load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
- Ability to safely, correctly, and efficiently perform installation duties according to instructions, methods, standards and timetables
- Ability to drive company vehicles in a safe manner
- Ability to account for labor hours and productivity
- Ability to supervise, lead and mentor a crew of two or more people
- Ability to lead crew in absence of Foreman
- Ability to communicate with customer before, during and after completion of job
- Ability to address any changes in the job prior to implementing changes
- Ability to complete necessary paperwork, check-in and check-out procedures
- Knowledge of trade specific tools for installations and correct use and care of equipment
- Ability to foster a positive team environment by building strong relationships and inspiring mutual trust, professionalism, integrity, and respect
- Ability to adhere to and promote Company workplace policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, the policies related to safety and against bullying, harassment, violence or discrimination in the workplace
