Job Summary
Conduct daily accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. Manage store-related transactions to ensure accuracy across multiple locations and support timely monthly closings by reviewing financial transactions and resolving discrepancies. Prepare detailed account schedules and reports for management while partnering with operations and purchasing teams to optimize financial processes. Coordinate year-end audits and documentation for external auditors, and assist with ad-hoc financial projects as needed. Requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting, 2-3 years of experience, and proficiency in Excel and Oracle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2-3 years of accounting experience, with a focus on retail or multi-location businesses
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
- Experience with financial reporting, general ledger management, and month-end closing processes
- Strong proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPS, pivot tables, complex formulas)
- Experience working with major accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members across the company
- Ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
