Job Summary

Develop proof-of-concept capabilities to demonstrate the operational impact of vulnerabilities for customer mission needs. Apply reverse engineering expertise to analyze software and systems, uncovering low-level functionality and supporting exploitation efforts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design mission solutions and build tooling that improves efficiency and scalability. Contribute to research-driven engineering focused on payload development and vulnerability analysis using C, C++, and Python. Requires Bachelor's degree, 5+ years in CNO or vulnerability research, active TS/SCI clearance, and proficiency with debuggers like Ghidra. Salary range $103,500-$181,100. Part of the Federal Solutions team delivering defense and intelligence solutions globally.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience in lieu of a degree
  • 5+ years of professional experience in CNO, CNE, vulnerability research, or research-driven engineering
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and source code repositories such as GitLab or Bitbucket
  • Experience with development frameworks and tooling for C, C++, and Python
  • Proficiency in C, Python, and Assembly
  • Strong understanding of low-level systems, software architecture, and secure development practices
  • Hands-on experience with debuggers and disassemblers such as GDB, Ghidra, or Binary Ninja
  • Familiarity with common offensive security and research toolsets such as Kali Linux and Metasploit
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams
  • Ability to work both independently and in a highly collaborative environment
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; ability to obtain a Polygraph
  • US Citizenship
  • An active Top Secret SCI security clearance

Desired Qualifications

  • Deep experience with multiple CPU architectures
  • Demonstrated success building tooling or technical infrastructure that enabled CNO development, including exploits and payloads
  • Knowledge of the internals of one or more RTOS platforms
  • Experience working across the OSI model using low-level programming languages
