Job Summary
CNN London Planning (Interviews & Guest Booking) Intern role centered in the newsroom. Responsibilities include daily pitching of guest names and perspectives to CNNi show programming teams, providing editorial input, scheduling and organizing technical logistics for both remote and in-person interviews, researching the right voices for CNNi shows, contacting and pre-interviewing guests, and briefing show teams during editorial meetings. Ideal candidates are passionate about international news, capable of working quickly with multiple priorities, and able to contribute to the fast-paced guest booking process across CNNi programs. The internship is hybrid (remote and in-office) in London, for a 6-month period starting 1st September 2026, with salary £29,000 per annum pro rata (annualized ~$36,250 USD).
Required Qualifications
- Interest in journalism with portfolio or content work (blogs, podcasts, YouTube channel)
- Ability to work in fast-paced, team environments and meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
