Job Summary
Program 2-axis CNC Turning machines using Fanuc controls, setting operations to tight tolerances while machining new products for the Aerospace sector. Interpret engineering drawings in Imperial and work with exotic materials including Inconel, Hastelloy, and Duplex. Self-inspect components using manual measuring equipment to maintain high-quality standards across smaller batch development. Requires 5 years of experience in precision engineering environments such as Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Defence, and Aerospace. Required Qualifications

- At least 5 years of experience or an apprentice trained in CNC Turning within precision engineering environments such as Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Defence and Aerospace
- Proven ability to program using Fanuc controls
- Working with exotic materials such as Inconel, Hastelloy, Duplex, Super Duplex
- Confident in working with smaller batches for developing components for the Aerospace sector
- Able to self-inspect own work using manual measuring equipment
