Job Summary
Program at the control and perform setups on CNC mills and lathes to machine small-run parts and tooling from blueprints while adhering to GD&T. Hold tight tolerances and conduct in-process quality inspection using hand grinders and supporting tooling to finish parts to spec. Take ownership of work from blueprint to finished piece, ensuring clean execution on every part. This hands-on role fits a small, low-volume, high-precision job shop culture focused on continuous improvement and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of toolroom or short-run CNC machining experience
- Comfortable programming at the control (mills and/or lathes)
- Strong blueprint reading and applied GD&T knowledge
- Demonstrated ability to hold tight tolerances in a small-batch environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and team-minded — a fit for our culture of ownership, attention to detail, continuous improvement, and teamwork
- First shift, 8-hour days, full-time, in person
