CNC Specialist

Job Summary
Conduct injection mold maintenance, repair, adjustment, and setup while controlling spare parts and managing tool offsets. Machine mold components from steels and pre-hardened materials, deburr, and prepare for assembly. High-speed mill graphite and precision mill copper electrodes using material-appropriate strategies for dust, heat, and burr management. Optionally create CAM toolpaths, import STEP/IGES files, post and verify G-code, and perform first-article inspections to feedback improvements. Maintain 5S, tool libraries, and consumable controls; update ERP travelers and work orders. Monitor production schedules to minimize downtime and analyze preventive maintenance activities to recommend changes. Communicate unresolved mold concerns to supervisors and transport molds for storage with proper hose kit management. Follow all safety policies and housekeeping standards.
Required Qualifications
- 2–3+ years setting up and operating CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machining centers
- Demonstrated experience machining graphite and/or copper electrodes
- knowledge of dust/burr/heat management
- High school education or equivalent
- Technician of Precision Mechanical or demonstrated experience in this field
