Job Summary
Independent setup, operation, and troubleshooting of CNC lathes to produce high-precision aerospace components; interpret blueprints and GD&T requirements; select and set up tooling, fixtures, collets, chucks, and machine offsets; produce precision aerospace turned components to tight tolerances; perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections with precision measuring tools; monitor tool wear and machining conditions; troubleshoot machining, tooling, setup, and program issues; ensure AS9100 aerospace quality standards and customer requirements; maintain production records and inspection documentation; support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and productivity; 3+ years CNC lathe setup experience; aerospace or precision machining background preferred; strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills; experience holding tight tolerances (±0.0005” or better); proficiency with micrometers, calipers, indicators, and inspection tools; strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude; apply now to join a team focused on precision, quality, and performance.
