Job Summary
CNC Sheet Metal Programmer responsible for developing and optimizing nesting programs for laser cutting and press brake operations using Trumpf TruTops Boost. Focus on improving production efficiency, troubleshooting programming/machine issues, maintaining accurate programming records, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives while collaborating with engineering and production teams. Requires high school diploma (technical certification preferred) and 3+ years’ experience with Trumpf equipment; proficiency with TruTops Boost, reading drawings, and understanding sheet metal fabrication. Preferred experience includes CAD/CAM software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo), Trumpf TruStore, lean manufacturing, and other CNC equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- technical degree or certification highly preferred
- 3+ years’ experience in sheet metal programming, particularly with Trumpf equipment
- Proficient in TruTops Boost
- reading technical drawings
- understanding sheet metal fabrication
