Job Summary
Develop and refine complex CNC programs for punching and bending operations using Salvagnini STREAM technologies to maximize material yield and minimize waste. Configure Salvagnini systems for efficient production runs and prepare press brake setup instructions. Analyze production performance, monitor scrap rates, and implement continuous improvement to maintain operational efficiency. Collaborate with engineering on design-for-manufacturability and contribute to training programming personnel.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in CNC programming within a sheet metal fabrication environment, preferably involving Salvagnini systems.
- Working knowledge of CAD/CAM platforms such as RADAN and Salvagnini STREAM modules, including Stream Bend, Stream Punch, Stream Laser, and Stream Former.
- Minimum 1yr experience in CNC programming or machine operation.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and blueprints, utilize precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, tape measures), and apply a solid understanding of sheet metal properties and fabrication processes.
