CNC Setup Operator - 3rd Shift

Job Summary
Responsible for setting up and operating CNC Lathes and Mills in a production setting, evaluating efficiency, editing programs, setting up machining centers, replacing tooling, ensuring safety and quality, interpreting technical drawings, and aiding in maintenance and ERP documentation. Must perform manual work in a non-climate-controlled factory, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and work 3rd shift with overtime expectations. Requires experience with G-code programming, Mazatrol, and setup of 3-axis CNC mills/lathes; familiarity with casting machining and quality gauging; attention to safety and continuous improvement; ability to read drawings and troubleshoot machining issues. Shift: 3rd shift, Sun-Wed, 4x10s; full benefits package available.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with G code programming
- Experience in setting up 3- axis CNC mills and lathes in a production environment
- Experience with Mazatrol programming is a plus
- Experience with setup and machining of castings is a plus
- Must be familiar with the mechanical function of CNC machines and equipment
