CNC Setup Operator - 1st shift

Set up computerized numerically controlled machine tools and related equipment for machining operations based on drawings, blueprints, and job layouts. Operate machines to produce parts conforming to specifications and time standards, changing cutting tools and work pieces as needed. Inspect first article parts for Quality Assurance verification and assist operators with dimension inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Participate in problem solving activities, stimulate team-based quality improvements, and train other department employees. Maintain work area cleanliness and report unsafe conditions or faulty equipment to management.
