Job Summary
CNC Setup Machinist on 2nd shift responsible for obtaining and maintaining operator authorizations, developing and validating CNC programs, configuring machine parameters, executing work to specifications, and performing in-process and final inspections. Collaborates with Engineering on production optimization, prepares and validates machine setups, trains production staff, and maintains equipment reliability. Requires reading blueprints/technical drawings, strong math and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Experience with CAM programming (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion, Gibbs) and background in aerospace/defense or tight-tolerance industries are advantageous. High school diploma or GED is required; vocational training or apprenticeship is an asset.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years proven experience as a Machinist in a precision manufacturing environment
- Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Solid understanding of materials, tooling, and machining best practices
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Safety-first mindset and reliable work habits
