Job Summary
CNC Setup/Operator on 3rd shift responsible for setting up and adjusting CNC machines, operating Vertical (3 and 4 axis) and Horizontal Mills, and reading inspection tools. Collaborates with the Quality department to interpret layout data, performs maintenance checks, manages coolant handling and refilling, and uses daily paperwork (production sheets, SPC sheets, traveler packets) to track progress. Works independently and in a team, participates in continuous improvement, and completes special projects. Preferred experience with Haas, Brother, and DMG Mori CNC Machining Centers; HS Diploma/GED required; must pass a skills-based test and a company background check with drug screen. Location: Niles, MI.
