Job Summary
Set and operate CNC lathes and milling machines to produce precision-engineered components per engineering drawings. Perform tool changes, offsets, and machine adjustments while inspecting parts with measuring equipment. Maintain high quality standards, complete production documentation, and work to schedules with Production and Quality teams. Keep the environment clean and safe. Day shift, Monday through Friday, with regular overtime available. Salary ranges from £28,000 to £36,000 DOE.
Required Qualifications
- Previous CNC Setting and Operating experience
- Experience working within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience using measuring equipment such as micrometers, verniers and gauges
- Good understanding of machining tolerances and quality standards
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude and excellent work ethic
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
