Job Summary
CNC Setter/Operator – Milling on Fanuc controls in a Stroud aerospace precision engineering environment. Responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-spec aerospace components, reading and interpreting engineering drawings, and performing quality checks with measuring equipment. Must work to tight tolerances, uphold aerospace standards and procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement within the machining department. Requires minimum 3 years’ experience in CNC milling, prior aerospace manufacturing experience, and strong proficiency with Fanuc controls. Demonstrates reliability, motivation, and ability to work independently in a 4-day week, late-shift schedule (12:00pm–10:00pm).
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as CNC Setter/Operator - Milling
- Previous aerospace manufacturing experience essential
- Strong experience using Fanuc controls
- Able to read and interpret technical engineering drawings
- Experience working to tight tolerances and high-quality standards
- Reliable, motivated and able to work independently
