Job Summary
The CNC Set Up Operator on 2nd Shift will set up and operate various machines with minimal supervision, ensuring compliance with job specifications by inspecting produced parts and diagnosing machining programs. Responsibilities include obtaining necessary tools and prints, maintaining equipment, training other operators, and performing fundamental machine maintenance. Candidates should hold a High School Diploma or GED, have 2-4 years of relevant experience, and be proficient with measurement equipment. A strong work ethic and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-4 years’ experience
- Ability to use all required measurement and inspection equipment
- Ability to make major adjustments/offsets including positional moves
- Ability to change and re-sharpen tools as necessary
- Ability to assemble and disassemble production tooling and machinery
- Basic understanding of company-wide manufacturing processes
