Job Summary
Download preset CNC programs, make minor adjustments to direct machine operation sequences, and operate CNC equipment to produce acceptable products per work instructions. Inspect parts for defects during in-process checks, record results, and notify supervisors of deviations. Perform basic machine adjustments including offsets, tapers, and preventative maintenance such as changing coolants and filters. Stack and transport product using hand-trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, cranes, or hoists while maintaining work area cleanliness. Wear required personal protective equipment at all times. Requires three years of relevant experience, intermediate math skills, and ability to utilize CAD/CAM programs and G and M codes. Hourly range is USD 20.57 to USD 27.16.
Required Qualifications
- Three (3) year relevant experience
- Ability to understand and act on verbal and written instructions
- Intermediate math (algebra, geometry) and computer skills
- Ability to learn, understand and utilize CAD/CAM programs and G and M codes
- Ability to understand and use Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Attention to detail
- Excellent listening skills
- Ability to work with a diverse variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
