Job Summary
Download preset CNC programs, make minor adjustments to direct machine operation sequences, and operate CNC equipment to produce acceptable products per work instructions. Inspect parts for defects during in-process checks, record results, and notify supervisors of deviations. Perform basic machine adjustments like offsetting and taper setting, conduct preventative maintenance including changing coolants and filters, and maintain work area cleanliness. Stack and transport product using hand-trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, or hoists while wearing required personal protective equipment. This weekend shift role runs Friday through Sunday from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. with 12-hour shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Three (3) year relevant experience
- Ability to understand and act on verbal and written instructions
- Intermediate math (algebra, geometry) and computer skills
- Ability to learn, understand and utilize CAD/CAM programs and G and M codes
- Ability to understand and use Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Must exhibit attention to detail
- Excellent listening skills
- Ability to work with a diverse variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds
- Weekend Shift Nights: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 6:00pm - 6:00pm
- 12 hour shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
