Job Summary
Download preset CNC programs, make minor adjustments to direct machine operation sequences, and operate CNC equipment to produce acceptable ceramic components per work instructions. Inspect parts for defects during in-process checks, record results, and notify supervisors of deviations. Perform basic machine adjustments including offsets, taper settings, and preventative maintenance such as changing coolants and filters. Load and transport product using hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, or cranes while maintaining work area cleanliness. Wear required personal protective equipment at all times. This weekend shift role (Friday through Sunday, 6:00am–6:00pm) requires three years of relevant experience and proficiency with CAD/CAM, G and M codes, and GD&T. CoorsTek manufactures components enabling technology in industries ranging from beverage dispensers to satellites.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Three (3) year relevant experience
- Ability to understand and act on verbal and written instructions
- Intermediate math (algebra, geometry) and computer skills
- Ability to learn, understand and utilize CAD/CAM programs and G and M codes
- Ability to understand and use Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Attention to detail
- Excellent listening skills
- Ability to work with a diverse variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds
- Weekend Shift Days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 6:00am - 6:00pm
- 12 hour shifts
