Job Summary
The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for operating CNC routers to cut, shape, and drill wood components according to production specifications. Key responsibilities include loading raw materials, setting up machine parameters, monitoring operations, inspecting finished products for accuracy and quality, and performing routine maintenance. A high school diploma is required, along with experience operating CNC machinery preferred. Applicants should possess the ability to read technical drawings and demonstrate strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience operating CNC machinery in a wood, cabinetry, millwork, or panel manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and work instructions.
- Basic computer skills for machine interface and program selection.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and squares.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
