Job Summary
CNC Sheet Metal Fabrication Specialist responsible for setup, program execution, and quality verification on turret punch and punch/laser equipment in a precision sheet metal environment. Requires 5+ years of CNC turret punch experience, blueprint-reading proficiency, and experience with galvanized steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Studious attention to quality, tooling preparation, and process optimization; role involves loading programs, setting up punches/dies, adjusting machine parameters, performing inspections with calipers, maintaining production records, and supporting production schedules. Shifts include 1st and 3rd with contract-to-hire employment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience operating CNC turret punch equipment in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication specifications
- Experience processing galvanized steel, stainless steel, and aluminum materials
- Proficiency using measuring tools and performing quality inspections
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of shop math, including geometry and trigonometry
