Job Summary
CNC programming technician role coordinating production and post-processing activities with Engineering; create CNC programs for Swiss or Milling centers, set up machines, select cost-effective tooling, develop sustainable processes, write work instructions, and apply full G-code knowledge. Drive LEAN principles, communicate technical specs across departments, identify continuous-improvement projects, reduce cycle time, manage tooling costs, coordinate engineering tests, assist in tool design and CNC programming, modify ERP BOM/BOO, and support costing/quoting functions while maintaining machining and secondary processes.
Required Qualifications
- 2 – 3 years of experience in technical field
- Experience with CAD and CAM software – preferably Solid works, NX and Esprit
- Proficient PC skills in a Windows environment, especially word and excel
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
