CNC Programmer

Job Summary
CNC Programmer responsible for translating engineering designs into CNC programs for robotic plasma, press brake and bending machines; interpret drawings, specifications and manufacturing requirements to produce accurate machining instructions; collaborate with Engineering and Production to improve tooling, nesting and processes; perform tooling and material setup; conduct programming simulations and verification to minimise errors and maximise machine efficiency; provide technical support to operators and production teams; identify opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance productivity, quality and efficiency; ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards; support lean manufacturing initiatives and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience working as a CNC Programmer within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling and cutting technologies
- Experience programming CNC machinery including: Press Brakes, Laser Cutting Machines, Multi-Axis CNC Equipment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional manufacturing team
