Job Summary
Program and maintain current file revisions of all client parts by interpreting engineering blueprints to draw flat pattern layouts. Collaborate with clients' engineers and reverse engineer parts for manufacturing while troubleshooting production issues. Demonstrate proficiency in SolidWorks, CAMWorks, and SigmaNEST to write, edit, and manage G Codes across various precision CNC machinery. Requires minimum 3 years of CNC programming experience and knowledge of fabrication, machining practices, and material properties.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years working with CNC programming
- Must have working knowledge of SolidWorks
- Must have working knowledge of CAMWorks
- Must have working knowledge of a computerized nesting software preferably SigmaNEST
- Knowledgeable on various precision CNC machinery and principles
- Knowledgeable on fabrication and machining practices
- Knowledgeable on the properties of materials
- Knowledgeable on the application of mathematics and dimensions to production machinery and tooling
- Ability to understand G Codes
- Ability to write G Codes
- Ability to edit G Codes
- Ability to troubleshoot production and technical issues
