Job Summary
Operate and program CNC equipment; supervise production, engineering and quality staff to produce quality parts while meeting customer needs. Develop and review machine layouts and setup, provide quotes to Sales, troubleshoot machining problems, plan production processes with Quality and Engineering, document changes, and ensure safety and productivity. Instruct and develop staff, coordinate across departments, perform maintenance and paperwork, enforce safety policies, schedule material availability and machine utilization, and evaluate training needs for staff. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills with knowledge of CNC lathe, tooling, layout, MRP/Global Shop, and Kaizen practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, manufacturing technology, or related field
- 3-5 years’ experience on CNC machines or similar industry, or equivalent combination of education and experience
