Job Summary
CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator (Turning) responsible for programming, setting up and operating CNC machines to produce components to precise specifications. Interpret CAD drawings and tolerances, select materials/tools and machining strategies, perform first-off and final checks, conduct daily/weekly maintenance checks, and report issues to the Production Manager. Requires experience programming CNC machines with CAD/CAM software, setting up/operating CNC machinery, and strong interpretation of engineering drawings and machining specifications with a focus on precision, safety, and quality. Based at ABG Rubber & Plastics, Brackmills, Northampton, offering a full-time daytime schedule, competitive benefits, and development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Experience programming CNC machines using CAD/CAM software
- Experience setting up and operating CNC machinery
- Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and machining specifications
