Job Summary
CNC Programmer at PTI Technologies in Oxnard, CA, responsible for programming, setting up, and operating 4-axis and 5-axis CNC machines to support aerospace manufacturing. Responsibilities include reading blueprints/technical data, determining tooling requirements, creating CNC programs via CAM software or manual inputs, designing holding fixtures, documenting tool lists, conducting First Article inspections, training operators, and performing machine maintenance. Requires Associate's degree or equivalent on-the-job experience, strong CAM software skills, ability to read technical data, solid geometry/trigonometry knowledge, and the ability to work in a high-performance, traditional manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent on-the-job experience
- Experience with 4-axis and 5-axis CNC programming

- CAM software proficiency
- Strong mathematical skills (geometry and trigonometry)
- Ability to read and interpret technical data and tooling requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to operate in a noisy manufacturing environment
