Job Summary
CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator responsible for programming, setting up and operating 3-axis CNC machines to produce components that meet drawings and tolerances. Interprets CAD drawings and engineering information, selects tools/materials and machining strategies, and performs first-off and final checks. Maintains equipment, conducts daily/weekly checks, and reports issues to the Production Manager. Emphasis on safety, quality, precision, and continuous improvement within a team-oriented production environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience programming 3 axis CNC machines using CAD/CAM software
- Experience setting up and operating 3 axis CNC machinery
- Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and machining specifications
- High attention to detail with a strong understanding of precision measurement and machining processes
