Job Summary
Develop and write code for CNC machines based on technical drawings and design models. Determine appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feed rates, then run and test programs to fine-tune efficiency and accuracy. Diagnose and fix manufacturing issues while updating existing programs for different machines or production runs. Ensure finished parts meet precise specifications and maintain quality standards. This First Shift role requires blueprint reading, Mastercam proficiency, and hands-on machining knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Blueprint reading: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications
- Mastercam software proficiency: Experience using CNC programming software is essential
- Machining knowledge: A strong understanding of machining processes, materials, tooling, and machine speeds/feed rates
- Experience: Hands-on experience with CNC machines, often gained from working as a machine operator
- First Shift
