Job Summary
Program 3, 4, and 5-axis machining centers, multi-turret turning centers, and robot arms to optimize high-throughput production runs. Modify macros, design fixtures, and implement SMED techniques to reduce cycle times. Collaborate with engineering teams to define tolerances, validate processes, and train staff on setup and operation. Perform typical machine shop duties, including identifying defective parts and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Complete tasks per manufacturing schedules with minimal supervision while adhering to all safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years' experience as a CNC Programmer/Machinist
- Knowledge and ability to use gauges, calipers and other measuring tools
- Ability to work efficiently to meet production goals
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- In depth knowledge of best practices in safety for CNC machines and robotics
- Proficient in CAM programming
- Proficient in manual writing and editing of G-Code
- Solid understanding of macros
- Competent in CAD
- Highly detail oriented
- Self-starter with excellent time management
- Familiarity with FANUC controls
- Must be 18+ years of age to apply
