Job Summary
CNC Programmer II responsible for writing programs that machine complex parts to close tolerances on multiple axes and machining centers (including 4-axis and 5-axis lathes and HMCs). Maintains program libraries, revisions per NADCAP requirements, and assists shop floor with uploading/downloading programs. Requires proficiency in CAD/CAM tools (e.g., CAD/CAM, Esprit, MasterCam, SolidWorks), G/M code editing, macro programming, and familiarity with Fanuc/Okuma/Mitsubishi CELOS controllers. Kaizen participation (SMDE, VSM, 5S) and ability to analyze data to support safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. 5+ years in a fast-paced manufacturing environment; Bachelor degree desired. Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt is a plus. Strong problem-solving, time and project management skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision while collaborating with a team.
